Workshops & training

Long Mead offers hands-on training and workshops in floodplain meadow restoration, bringing together local volunteers to learn how to propagate rare wildflowers and rebuild these precious habitats.
We run educational workshops that unite school staff, community members, and nature experts to teach school leaders how to embed nature recovery into the curriculum as well as welcoming student groups from primary to higher educational settings.
We also deliver practical sessions in hedge-laying, community meadow creation, and art & science, equipping participants with ecological skills and creative approaches to landscape restoration.
