OUTREACH
At Long Mead, our outreach work connects people of all ages and abilities with the richness of wildlife and the living landscape.
We host a social-farming programme alongside the Nature Recovery Network, welcoming adults with learning disabilities and autism to experience nature-based activities that build confidence, skills, and wellbeing.
We also bring together schools, neighbours, experts, and local leaders to restore our floodplain meadows and explore the science, art, and history of this unique ecosystem - helping our community learn, participate, and thrive in nature.
